Who We Are
A history of hope and purpose
Our Mission

Our mission is simple: We are dedicated to preserving and conserving Timberline Lodge, protecting its historical integrity, and communicating the spirit of its builders, by providing counsel and raising funds, and coordinating community efforts to accomplish these goals.
Friends of Timberline was born in 1975 from the Comprehensive Employment Training Act (CETA), funding the replacement of historically accurate, hand-made fabrics throughout the Lodge. That was the beginning of 50 years partnering with the US Forest Service and RLK and Company to restore and preserve this amazing Works Progress Administration project. Our volunteers are proud to take on small and large-scale projects that preserve the history, art, architecture, design, and landscape of this national treasure.
